My pal Kim and I attended a luncheon, hosted by the Creative Coalition and while I connected with the people at our table... Kim ran off to connect with Alfre Woodard and her family. I'm glad that she did, because I was able to take a brief picture with Alfre!

Well, the pilot episode for the webseries that I co-created is up and live. I'm glad that I have the project in the mix, and I look forward to seeing the baby grow and gain a core audience. I am trying to put my finger around the press and promotions part of the series... b/c if people don't know about the show, how can they support it? Also, the financing component. So its a lot of a lot, yet, I am pleased with what we are working with. Be sure to check out the series page here:

Well, January 15, 2012 marked my one year anniversary with living out my dreams FT. I moved to Atlanta that day at 33, to embark on a new professional life for myself. I made some God awful mistakes, and failed a lot in a year. However, as I type, I am oddly proud of myself for going through it all to make a year. Its so much easier to sit on the side lines while others make it happen. I've been there. However, I am now making it happen, and although I want out a lot --- I love the challenge of creating this awesome life that I have. This year in 2012, I vow to pay and join SAG/WGA, relocate back to LA and settle and meet my husband (yes, I want to get married and have kids), I also want to get my financial health together. God willing, I will accomplish those goals and so much more. I just know on my vision board, a lot has already happened and its only the 3rd day in February.
I pray many miracles happen this year. I need them all.
